Call Me

Life is hard. Therapy helps.

Do you feel like an outcast? Struggling with the pressures of being “normal" and don’t even know who you are anymore? Maybe stuck in people pleasing and feel like you allow yourself to be treated poorly way too often? Or just generally feel your life isn’t going the way you want it to be going?

We were raised to live up to a certain set of ideals regarding what is “good” or “right” for a person to say or do, often limited by gender norms, and when we should accomplish certain life goals. Unfortunately, we internalized a lot of that whether we agreed with it or not, and who we really are got lost along the way. Sometimes finding yourself is not about discovery, but about unraveling all of the bullshit that makes you feel like you aren’t enough. At the end of the day, we want to be accepted and loved for who we really are, flaws and everything.

I will help take you on the journey of embracing authenticity over normalcy and help you find your place in this strange world. We can process your trauma, learn to understand your core beliefs and how your choices reinforce whatever those core beliefs may be, work on accepting the parts of yourself you don’t like very much, bring shame into the light, and learn to look for silver linings.

Although I can’t change the world and the messed-up ways it functions, I can help you learn how to live as your true self and discover some joy again after it’s been lost. I will never tell you it all gets better—but that some of it just might.

In addition to depression, anxiety, relationship issues, and other "normal" thing that bring people to therapy, I specialize in working with the LGBTQIA+ community, people impacted by incarceration, and helping people find themselves again when they feel a little bit lost. Look around to get to know me better and learn more! Call or text me at 208-274-9373. If I can't answer, I'll get back to you as soon as I can.

Embrace Your True Self

Feeling like an outcast and struggling to find your place in the world can be overwhelming. It’s normal to face the pressure of conforming to societal norms and lose sight of who you really are, what you really want, and how you really want to live. I did, and so did many other people I know. It was only through my own counseling that I was able to become unapologetically myself, and I had to become unapologetically myself before being able ... Navigate Life’s Challenges

Life is hard. Sometimes, it feels so hard you might want to give up and spend three days in bed. I specialize in providing compassionate and affirming therapy in Idaho tailored to help you navigate this increasingly difficult world. My... Learn More

Find Healing and Acceptance

Having faced the pressure of conforming to societal norms, I understand both the importance, and difficulty, of living authentically. I understand how the negative things you were told as a child still ring in your ears and live in the pit of your stomach, and how those things worked to form core beliefs that now hold you back. I understand what it’s like to never feel good enough—as a friend, partner, employee. What it’s like to never feel ... Learn More
