Life after prison is hard. Life is hard when you have a child, parent, or other family member currently in prison. Life is hard when you’re a prison wife/girlfriend/boyfriend and trying to figure out how to balance your needs with your significant other’s needs while they’re inside. So many people feel so much shame based on their relationships with people in prison, especially convicted felons. It can be a lonely, scary, difficult road to be on without some support, and it can be hard to feel like you can openly talk about everything going without being judged. Therapy for people with loved ones in prison in Idaho can help. I understand and you will get no judgement here, only support and empathy.

I worked directly with incarcerated men and women for over 5 years, including regular therapy, crisis assessments, group therapy, and casual check-ins. During this time, I also worked with their families about their concerns. I understand the ins and outs and complications that go hand-in-hand with having a loved one in prison, and understand the internal struggles and stigma that surround families. Like I said, it’s hard.

If you’re looking for a therapist who understands, won’t shame you, and won’t judge you, you’ve come to the right place. Call or text me at 208-274-9373. If I can't answer, I'll get back to you as soon as I can.
